Final 2008 1st Round Mock Draft by Bosco and Duncan

Final 2008 1st Round Mock Draft by Bosco and Duncan
  1. Dolphins- Jake Long (Already picked, so not much of a guess here lol)
  2. Rams- Chris Long (Rams used last year's 1st rounder on a tackle, and with a horrible pass rush last year, this pick seems like it has to be Long)
  3. Falcons- Glenn Dorsey (Many people think Matt Ryan will go here, but Dorsey is more of a sure thing, and we think that Atlanta needs a SURE thing right about now!)
  4. Raiders- Darren McFadden (Al Davis won't pass up on this freak of athletic nature)
  5. Chiefs- Vernon Gholston (Chiefs need a DE with the Jared Allen trade from earlier this week)
  6. NY Jets- Sedrick Ellis (The Jets might use all 10 mins with this pick, especially because they would lose their top 2 guys right b4 they pick, a trade is very possible in this scenario)
  7. Patriots- Derrick Harvey (Pats will also seriously consider trading out to a team looking to jump ahead of the Ravens for Matt Ryan)
  8. Ravens- Matt Ryan (Couldn't be a better scenario for Harbaugh in his first year with a team that has had quarterback issues from day 1)
  9. Bengals- Keith Rivers (Cincy would love to have Ellis but this pick isn't too bad either for their line backing corps)
  10. Saints- Leodis McKelvin (Top CB for a team that could definitely use one)
  11. Bills- Devin Thomas (Reports say Bills want him and are targeting him)
  12. Broncos- Branden Albert (We don't think Denver is targeting him but if he falls in their lap they will have to take him)
  13. Panthers- Ryan Clady (The word around is he's the guy they have wanted from jump street)
  14. Bears- Chris Williams (They could also take Jeff Otah with this pick, its a win win)
  15. Lions- Rashard Mendenhall (A Great replacement since they cut Kevin Jones)
  16. Cardinals- Mike Jenkins (They want Mendenhall but if he goes to the lions they will go defense, then RB in the 2Nd or 3rd)
  17. Chiefs- Jeff Otah(They made the Allen trade knowing that they could get a big time pass rusher to replace him and an offensive lineman in the 1st round)
  18. Texans- Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Best CB available for the Texans here)
  19. Eagles- Limas Sweed (Many people thing a CB for them here, but after the money they dumped on Samuel, and with the team STILL needing a WR after all these years they will try again with Sweed)
  20. Bucs- Aqib Talib (Big time CB/Special Teamer here for the Bucs late in round 1)
  21. Redskins- Phillip Merling (Skins need a pass rusher so this pick could be used to help that major need)
  22. Cowboys- Felix Jones (Dallas' biggest need at this point after the Pac-Man trade is RB and Felix Jones has been targeted since day 1, so they will scoop him up here)
  23. Steelers- Gosder Cherilus (Most glaring need after Faneca departure and its being dented into with this selection
  24. Titans- Calais Campbell (Titans would love to get their hands on Sweed but if he is gone they will wait until later on to get a WR, because they feel the value just wont be there)
  25. Seahawks- Kentwan Balmer (No way they take a RB here with the additions of Julius Jones and TJ Duckett with Maurice Morris already there)
  26. Jaguars- Lawrence Jackson (If Campbell, Balmer or Merling slip down to them, they will absolutely grab one, but if not Jackson is their man)
  27. Chargers- Jonathon Stewart (We know its a reach, but since they lost Michael Turner and with Tomlinson showing he's somewhat human in the playoffs this might be the chance SD takes on a RB)
  28. Cowboys- DaSean Jackson (Would immediately help the Cowboys receiving game and he is definitely the best WR on the board, wouldn't be surprised if Dallas traded out though)
  29. 49ers- Jerod Mayo (A Right Tackle would be the perfect pick here, but with no real value, they wouldn't mind grabbing a good LB like Mayo, strong possibility to trade out as well)
  30. Packers- Brandon Flowers (Aging CB's lead to this pick for the Favre-less cheese heads)
  31. Patriots- Forfeited for taping games... classy!
  32. Giants- Kenny Phillips (Safety being a very important need, they will probably grab a Miami safety, doesn't sound too bad does it? lol)
